One of Maegog Studio’s areas of expertise is the JQuery javascript library. This library allows us to put stunning visual effects on any type of website.

One such site that we’ve recently done development work on is a BMI Calculator site. Our client has created this site to provide a visually interesting and extremely useful BMI calculator for females, a BMI calculator for males, and a BMI calculator for children.

Maegog Studios has stepped in to help with the front-side coding. If you check out the site, you’ll see how we’ve added tabs for the different calculators, calculator results that fade in and highlight with a different color depending on the results, and dynamically loading charts that display the various BMI calculations.

Rosa’s Fudge

Rosa’s Fudge is a Zen Cart driven e-commerce website that sells gourmet fudge. Maegog Studios was hired to help Rosa’s improve the overall usability and design of the store after customers reported having problems with site navigation and flow.

Maegog Studios did extensive work on the site including adding many new features to the online store, such as tracking new customer referrals, implementing seasonal sales, and adding the ability for users to create their own assortments of fudge.

Maegog Studios also performed Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to help increase Rosa’s rankings in Google and other search engines and helped to develop a marketing plan that Rosa’s is using to further develop their business.

2Sweet2Eat is a small company founded by two sisters that sells chocolate products.

Maegog Studios worked with 2Sweet2Eat to design and develop the site from scratch. We worked with the two sisters to come up with an overall look and feel for the site, as well as helping them with search engine submission.

American Laboratory Trading (ALT) is a leading online provider of used laboratory equipment.

ALT had recently outsourced a new site that was not performing to expectations and asked Maegog Studios to come on board to help get the site straightened out. Maegog Studios performed extensive modifications including rewriting SQL queries to improve database and website performance, improving site search capabilities, adding new features, and recoding a large portion of the administrative section of the website.

In addition to improving usability, Maegog Studios has done numerous graphic design projects for ALT. Just a few of these projects include designing business cards, creating online banner ads, designing an email newsletter, and designing full page advertisements for industry magazines.
